Having a look at that thread from the stirrer forum what's quite depressing is how most people are arguing the toss and maybe "how do you know they were BNP", picking at straws, ranting about the use of the word skinhead, going off subject and making half-baked witty comments - but practically NO-ONE is condemning what is typical BNP behaviour. Thuggery, basically.
Unless you want to make a big deal out of the fact that Martin didn't check their BNP membership card before the whole spat...
More worryingly, it would cost absolutely nowt to express condemnation online. It makes you wonder what it would be like in person! And then you hear crap about the "British resolve"... More spinelessness like, at least judging by the forum.
I think the editor of the forum was trying to be careful Claude. One of the eyewitnesses disputes the person in question ever said anything pro-BNP. It is worth reading all six pages of the thread. There are also allegations that Martin Mullaney and John Hemming use that forum for shameless self-publicity.

Sadly, the thing that I am most likely to remember about this was that it managed to satisfy Godwin's Law before the end of the first post.
Is this a record?
